"I believe in science. I believe in evolution. I believe in Nate Silver and Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Christopher Hitchens. Although I do admit he could be a kind of an asshole. I cannot get behind some supreme being who weighs in on the Tony Awards while a million people get whacked with machetes. I don't believe a billion Indians are going to hell. I don't think we get cancer to learn life lessons, and I don't believe that people die young because God needs another angel. I think it's just bullshit, and on some level, I think we all know that, I mean, don't you?... Look I understand that religion makes it easier to deal with all of the random shitty things that happen to us. And I wish I could get on that ride, I'm sure I would be happier. But I can't . Feeling aren't enough. I need it to be real."
~ Piper Chapman, Orange is the New Black.
What more does a theist need to become rational or even agnostic-theist?
I believe Piper's statement fulfills the requirements for a sane human to just question god.
One simple statement by mankind can change everyone.
Just ask..."Why?"
Why does god let us die for nothing?
Why does god send people to hell to burn without rehabilitation?
Why does god make life shitty enough for us to kill ourselves (unrelated to quote)?
This quote makes me think, why do people bother with god?
We should speak the words out loud that...
"Religion is complete utter bullshit!"
God created the human race while knowing ahead of time they would screw everything up. Then after all the turmoil, he sent himself down to Earth in order to be tortured and killed....in order to appease himself.

Whilst Madame Curie (my idol) discovered radium, didn't patent it (saved billions of lives ahead of time from the medical industry using it), spent her whole life researching it only to die from it.
While Jesus is a narcissist.

Coward.
You threw a bunch of your opinions at me while telling me my opinion doesn't matter at all, but I'll say a couple of things in reply. I believe in science and I know what a scientific theory is. I know that scientific theories, though not entirely demonstrated as fact, are accepted as fact among the scientific community. I also accept the science behind the big bang theory as an explanation of how the universe was formed and is forming, but it doesn't show me how the stuff that made the universe came about. I accept evolution, but it doesn't at all counter the existence of the creator God. You would probably be able to be more objective if you would take the chip off your shoulder. Calling my God nasty names doesn't lead to a healthy debate.

I gave mostly facts.
And what else should I call your god?
