Here's the problem with trying to identify one (or just a few) meaningful stats in an attempt to be objective in greatest ever rankings. Neil O'Donnell is fourth on the list, but there's no way he could come close to Bradshaw. The amusing thing is that it was his picks thrown to Larry Brown in Super Bowl XXX that ensured the Steeler loss (both ensuing drives started inside the Steeler 20).
Fuck, Garoppolo injured in the 2nd quarter after putting up 21 points against the Dolphins. Hope it isn't too bad.
I'm feeling very good about the Giants this year. Looks like canning Coughlin has already paid off. The fact that the game was close and we didn't choke in the fourth quarter is enough to make me happy.
WTF happened to the Seachickens?!? Three freaking points? Against the LAMBS?!?

Patriots are doing better than expected against the Texans. I still expect them to lose though.

Wow, Texans have fumbled the ball on kickoff returns twice, both times the Patriots have recovered and scored a touchdown on the resulting drive.
Aaron Rodgers doesn't belong on the top three list yet. Not even close.
Johnny Unitas, Dan Marino, Steve Young, John Elway, Brett Favre, Sammy Baugh, Fran Tarkenton, Peyton Manning, Terry Bradshaw, and maybe Roger Staubach belong on that list before Rodgers.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

So, our 3rd string QB Jacoby Brissett has torn a ligament in his thumb and needs surgery: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jacoby...s-qb-woes/
Fuck it, if Edelman is QB in game 4, I'm betting on the Patriots and the ability of Belichick to pull off the win. Somehow we'll make it happen. |
