Of course there are some exceptions, but these people are either atheists or agnostics.
Very few Bible-belters take drugs (only some atheists and agnostics).
Their mental health is also better, because they are more religious.

Is that a question? I'm not so sure what your point is
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

So, I wonder what it would be like to grow up in a totally different environment.

Bolded mine.  If you actually believe that, I think there are a few wires crossed.

And if your intent was to discuss "what it's like to grow up in a different environment," then why not just put that in your damn OP instead of loading it with clumsy snark and sarcasm?

ok, you are right.

just I am used to posting in another local forum, that is smaller and people know each other better, and sarcasm is used more often.
And Northern Americans have different sense of humour.
We don't make jokes about burning farts, for example. (yuck, so gross).

In general, it's appreciated when you say what you mean.  Sarcasm is great, but if it makes it unclear what exactly you want to talk about, it's useless.

Bible Belters actually fail in all those categories. Let me repeat there is more drugs, more STDs, more teen pregnancies, more violent crimes, more hate, people live less, people are less educated and have more gluttony in Bible Belt states then the rest of USA.
Now is that because God is testing them? Or they worship wrong God and real God (Krishna?) punishes them because they even have worse weather problems (like hurricanes) then the rest? Or there is no God and by living on ancient way of life they are worsening their lives and well being.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
