There's no such thing as "the supernatural". It's just a word we use for "not yet understood".

The supernatural is that which is beyond the natural realm, so if it can't be observed or studied because it's not part of the natural realm, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's undetectability and absence is indistinguishable, but that doesn't mean they're necessarily the same thing. They are in respect to human experience, but they aren't necessarily the same thing in principle. In actuality I mean.

I myself am skeptical about human contact with intelligent aliens.

If such contact occurred or were to occur, it would most likely be with alien bacteria.

There are some crazy bacteria even on Earth that can survive extreme conditions: radiation, lack of oxygen, severe cold, long periods without food.

If aliens were to explain strange happenings on Earth, it would still leave the question of where did those aliens come from.

I am apt to believe that life in the universe is not so unique a thing that Earth is the only place where it exists.
