Hi. We welcome people of all beliefs here to discuss many different topics, not just religion. I hope you enjoy what conversation we can bring to the table.

belief has had a profound effect on my life. legitimate belief in myself (confidence) and belief in others (optimism) has definitely pulled me out of some interested places.
religious or not, i think we are all molded by our beliefs.
dunno what else im supposed to say, i was told to introduce myself. so here i am.
Well said, not that I agree with all you say. But it serves to give a taste of where you're coming from.
I find the idea of a literal god absurd and more than a little incoherent. But I agree with you that our beliefs mold us a good deal and for some people belief in gods can be life enhancing.

Yo!
Welcome to the forums!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

idk how or what, but i believe some intelligence could have had a hand in the universes creation. i dont put it outside the realm of possibility.
