I'll just give you the only thing that matters in this election.

He doesn't represent the establishment.

He'll win for the same reason Brexit did. You can laugh, you can bitch, you can be worried. It doesn't really matter. The silent majority are fed up with the way things are working and Trump is pretty much the only candidate Americans can vote for that:

1. Might actually change things in their favour
2. Has a chance of winning

1. is absurd.  He's a billionaire and the only group he'll help is billionaires.

2. is true and very scary.

I'll never understand why people think a greedy, corrupt businessman is the solution to the establishment. That's like saying, " I'm tired of being fucked by these people, so I'm voting to be fucked by this guy instead."
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Do you really think there's a vast silent majority out there who agrees with the Trump supporters?

The death of the republican party would be a tempting consolation prize for having had to endure four years of The Donald. Let's be honest with ourselves, if he loses, they'll blame it on the blacks, mexicans, hillary, and trump...and prop up another shitstain in four years (as well as numerous shitstains in all of the elections that -aren't- a presidential one).

Might encourage the dems to get off their ass too..or reduce them to a similar whimpering mess, wondering how they could have fucked this one up so badly.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Good one
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
