Do you really think there's a vast silent majority out there who agrees with the Trump supporters?

I do. You'll see on the 8th.

And for everyone else assuming what I think, FYI, I'm not really bothered either way. I have no real love for Trump nor do particularly care if he loses. I'm just getting a lot of enjoyment over how shit both these candidates are and how butt hurt everyone will be on this forum when Trump wins.

Meh, I just posted my first comment here in a joking way. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens on the 8th though.

You're more invested than you think Napo.  With the looming possibility (dare I say near certainty?) of brexit, you can't have your partner in that "special relationship" floundering...then you'd be well and truly fucked.

He doesn't represent the establishment.

He'll win for the same reason Brexit did. You can laugh, you can bitch, you can be worried. It doesn't really matter. The silent majority are fed up with the way things are working and Trump is pretty much the only candidate Americans can vote for that:

1. Might actually change things in their favour
2. Has a chance of winning

I'll never understand why people think a greedy, corrupt businessman is the solution to the establishment. That's like saying, " I'm tired of being fucked by these people, so I'm voting to be fucked by this guy instead."

Simples. He's not as logical as he thinks he is.

My emphasis.

We've had Berlusconi ruling our country for almost 20 years and being elected for the exact same reasons, and look how well it worked out for us! /s
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Allow me to enhance your enjoyment ahead of schedule. I'm butt hurt that Trump even made it this far. I'm incredulous. Aghast. Ashamed.

Shit I was over that jackass in the '80s. For me, the past year-and-a-half of cable news has turned into a ghastly freak show I can't stop watching. I can't wait until Wednesday morning, just so I don't have to hear the words "Trump" and "poll" in the same sentence for at least a few hours. And you won't have to worry about me being butt hurt if Trump wins. I'll just have a fucking stroke and spend the rest of my days eating blended meals, remembering the "good old days" when fucking W. was in office.

Might encourage the dems to get off their ass too..or reduce them to a similar whimpering mess, wondering how they could have fucked this one up so badly.

Ironically they can't blame the blacks on this one a good bit of black people i know are voting Trump.
