Don't believe the hype.......

RE: Don't believe the hype.......
This started with LBJ and the civil rights movement and "Great Society" legislation. Not with Reagan, though he certainly contributed heavily to the unequal distribution of wealth that divides us.

But it seems that ever since the Democrats adopted social justice as its main platform, a political rift has formed and widened. With minorities slowly becoming majorities, that has pain off for them in recent elections.

More and more people are becoming aware that they cannot think only of their own welfare, but of others as well. If my neighbor does well, I'm more likely to do well, also. The old, white, socially conservative people's way of life is literally dying out, and they are being replaced with younger, less likely to be white or Christian people. So of course tho6ne who are dying out are fighting tooth and nail. They feel threatened because in a very real sense they are. They aren't bad people in general, and they may even have a little rally here, as dying people often do shortly before the end. But really, they cannot win in the long run, not without extreme measures such as ethnic cleansing or Christian Dominion ism getting a full grip. Time will wear them away, it's inevitable.

Hearing is the least bit of the trouble. Racists and bigots in general feel secure now, knowing that a presidential candidate used their narrative. Some of them are armed to the teeth, and look how that turned out for the Bundy bunch. Aquitted on all charges. How's that for encouragement?

Again, the same "we have a shot" bullshit was said about McCain and Romney and those were not close. Hillary will win, the only issue is by how much in the electoral college and popular vote, but she will win
both.

I wish I was as confidant as you, but this is 2012, things are different. I'm trying to prepare myself mentally in case he wins on Tuesday. Though it's more likely he'd get a tie and have it go to Congress than pull an outright win. I'm literally nauseous just thinking about it. Ugh.

She will win the popular vote and win the electoral college. The only issue is by what margin by both. The crap about both being under and having congress pick is a very remote possibility statistically. Believe me, this will NOT be FLA 2000 all over. Again, Obama was poling less than a point at 0.7 at this time in 12.
This bullshit about Trump breaking the firewall is just that. Keep in mind that news media loves a conflict it sells add space. And having paid close attention to elections for decades, while the polls are accurate when averaged out over time, the peddling of outcomes favoring a close or contested race are overrated. The same peddling of a close race was sold with Obama/McCain and Obama/Romney. This will not be Florida 2000 all over. The only issue will be the margin. All the end final predictions at this point have her winning.

I have anxiety about this one too, just like I did with both of Obama's win. I think Hillary will do far better than what people expect even in non battleground states. The networks are lowballing her for ratings, but again, those are still putting her very close to 270 some just over, without the tossups, but she doesn't need all the tossups, Trump needs a majority of them, and he wont get them.
