Wasn't it a little weird, that boy Jesus was studying the Torah and was a quick enough learner as to impress the religiousites of the day ?
Like, he didn't have it already memorized ?
He should have penned his version right there on the spot, and made copies and passed them out. Wouldn't hurt to have him do some translations too . . .

Because Jesus "was" a guy that preached end of times that was to happen very soon, so he and others were not concerned by writing it. Only later on when they saw this wasn't happening like he said and it was selling people wrote it down.
But when you're asking questions why didn't Jesus (if he was real messenger) continue living, maybe even got married and make an example as a "good husband" and tell people his dad forgave people for eating from a wrong tree.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

What was not weird back then is that at the same time Jesus was learning and playing god his sister(s) was wiping floors, was not allowed to have any kind of education and could only look onto bleak future and Jesus didn't give a shit. Women these days and for many centuries ahead were pretty much slaves. Maybe that's why the loudest christian activists and even here on this forum are white males, because they want to have the world they once had when they could pick any random woman and throw her on the floor and yell "Wipe it!". That's why they don't care for the evidence that diminish existence of any god and will forever be desperately clinging to hallucinations, imagination to "prove" that god exists.

I doubt if Jesus existed he was a white male. So this world that we white males once had was probably not just for white males. But then again white males are the worst and most evil aren't they?
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

Just a random thought, no idea of what to make of it.
I think the expansion of the main religions of today has reached a point where they might last as long as the human race. Not without mutations within the beliefs though.

Noo! I made it look like the whites are worst. But that's just Christianity and Jesus if he existed was probably darker but that's sacrilege to white males isn't it? Other religions have other benefits for their males, don't they?

and as I recently learned, back in Jesus time, reading and writing were taught as separate skills. Not much doubt Jesus could read, but also EXTREMELY clear, Jesus could NOT write.
If he could have, he wouldn't have been a minimum wage carpenter, he would have been a high paid scribe.
I'm still wondering why Jesus had to read the Torah though, I'm confused he didn't have it memorized from the get go.

Well then you have Paul. He did exist and was considered very learned man and this is some of the things he wrote about women:
1 Timothy 2:12-14
I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.
You think christian guys would stubbornly push that God exists if the Bible spoke about men that way and like they do on this forum? No way!
Just like this guy
You think there is argument in the world that can make him see Allah does not exist? No way! He doesn't care for your arguments because he has too much fun hoarding women like cattle, which his holy book entitles him. Same reason with pious guys on this form won't listen.
