Which will
Live
In infamy"
 
The day
Hate won
The day
Fear won
 
The day
Our species
Gave into
Our worst instincts
 
Maybe stunned
We should not be
For we also gave into
Complacency
 
Reagan started it
And ever since
Successfully sold
The rich man's narrative
 
If we just accept
Less and less
If we just work more
It will do the trick
 
I only hope
For the sake of the planet
For my species
This isn't the end

What surprises me is that what was apparently a Left issue, medical marijuana, was overwhelmingly legalized. Yet, the same people who voted for that legalization placed an imbecile in the White House. *Shakes my damn head.*
