If and when you talk with her again, please give her my regards, and congrats on her continued sobriety. I sure miss her here.
Same here Brewer. Gemini is actually one of my best friends but I haven't heard from her in ages which is why I worry... so if you hear from her at all please let me know!

I left her a message to come post here. We'll see. Not gonna push.

Ta-da!
Thanks for thinking of me Thump, Hammy.
I have five months sober now and I'm working on my fourth step inventory, which is pretty fucking difficult. So much crazy in my head!
Meanwhile I've been finding other stuff to get addicted to. Shows (Dexter, then Sons of Anarchy, except for the last season, because I hated the end of the sixth season), then it was working on my stories, and currently it's Magic. I trained a girl at work who wants to set up a Magic night, and so I dug out my old cards for that, and now I'm all into it again. My boys like to play, though they like to make their own cards, which are a little OP. Like, 100/100 creatures for 3 mana.
And I went from vaping back to smoking...ack! I'm thinking of quitting tomorrow. Like I always do.
My husband is working evenings now so I can't get to as many meetings as I'd like, but his sister is going to be staying with us for a while so hopefully I'll be able to make more meetings while she watches the kids. I'm kinda worried though. She watches the boys for us sometimes, and her son dared my youngest to climb out of a second-story window. He fell, but he's fine. Another time when she and my husband were watching them, my oldest son broke his arm riding on the roof of a cozy coupe down a hill.
But anyway...love you guys! I'll try to post more often. I think about it a lot, but then I'm like, "everyone's probably forgotten about me..." lol
A Gemma is forever.

No, no, no, this is to much at one time, I can't deal with it.
Your only option is to post here more often.
Off to put my head in a bucket.

Okay, I'll try to break it up a bit.

So good to see you, Gem!
Yeah, inventory is a brutal step. But we come out better for it having taken an unsparing look at ourselves.
One thing I've found is that for me it's really an ongoing process.

I'm so glad you're okay Gem Gem!
I'm glad Brewer was able to contact you... I have no way of contacting you besides AF at the moment. I hope everything is okay between us? We've always been really good friends.
I'm so proud of you for over 5 months sober!

Everyone has ticks about something. There is something that give you peace of mind. I know my own. While I don't remember the last time I was drunk and heroin trumps alcohol, seriously, you feel sober after a bottle of whiskey, no discoordination, nothing, if you had that feel of relief, the place you feel no pain, just as pushing the plunger. How about going about to find ways to get that sweet stuff up your veins. Or an artery if you cant find a vein. Damn winter days when your veins are hidden on your flesh? Just poke yourself. Finding your own blood is is like striking oil. There is the place. Now push the plunger. And nothing would matter afterwards.
When I now get blood tests, the tecnicians usually younger than me say "I cant find your veins". To ease their trouble, I know the places. All the common places are bruised, lethery skin.
