Always taking the nice approach - or at least trying. That's why I respect you. But I find that approach cheesy. Usually it's pretty obvious who's liking whom by looking at the posts or knowing about PM conversations. That's what I like most. I do hand out reps, but like you, I prefer giving simple respect in the thread more. That's how friendships eventually grow. I have a hell of a lot of respect for a hell of a lot of folks here

For me at least, repping people is a way for me to recognize someone's uniqueness and show my appreciation for it. Regarding the reps that I have received from others, IMO, they show me that I can meaningfully contribute to this community, and that in someone's opinion (rather than relying on my own), I've actually been helpful and interesting.
