The simple fact is that some people think a moderator has to be all polished to participate. I got called out, I responded in kind. I have the previlege as any other members.

Yeah I saw that. Though I'm confused as to how that all started or what he was referring to specifically. I can't always stay on top of the AF drama! 

On another thread, I polished Napo's ass with my foot for simply copying and pasting a reddit thread. Not on a moderator action, but because I think its idiotic. The truth hurts I guess.

Napo perfectly knows we use modtags and PMs for staff actions, but he feels being persecuted, I guess.

Why my most shiny name was uttered in this thread I dunno and its way off the topic at hand. I am not ine to let cowardly snicker go by.

Perhaps Bella and the weird guy imagine that's what they would do, if the attackers were Drumpf supporters? Or at the very least, they'd call it "a false flag operation", staged by "libtards", in order to smear the good name of nationalists.

Also - persecution complex is all the rage among kids right  now and right wing sympathisers don't get enough opportunities, to paint themselves as victims and their political opponents as monsters.

Personally - I find it quite sad, that some people have the need to milk a horrible crime, for political reasons, but hey - I suppose they need to grab every chance they get...

Also, a lot of lefties are saying that, since some KKK people endorsed Trump, all Trump voters are on that level. That's something new - saying that the worst people in a group represent the group. Does that position also apply in this case? Apparently not...

I think hate crimes have a harsher penalty and are considered more serious. (correct me if I'm wrong)

If someone tries to deny a crime being a hate crime, I can see how some could take it as an indirect defense of the act/perpetrator, since it makes the crime less terrible.

So, it would be less terrible if that was a black able person? I have to disagree. Racism is reprehensible, but motive really doesn't change the outcome. Sure, self-defense and crimes of passion can be viewed differently. However, any unprovoked violent crime with the same outcome is equally terrible without inclusion of motive.

Defending, downplaying the racial motivation of the attackers, it's all the same to me. At least, that's the way I see it.

It's just not a defense. No one is saying they didn't do it. That's a defense.

Well, newsflash. I don't care about the skin color or origin of the victims. If someone beats someone else to a pulp, I'm not playing favorites. It's always despicable. And the fact that news of this incident travelled some 1000 miles doesn't exactly point to the media downplaying the incident. Not every beating, murder even, makes international headlines.

Since they said, "f*ck white people" as they were beating the poor guy, who happened to be white, would you say the attack was racially motivated then? It was in the video.
