Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) left no doubt on Sunday morning that he intends to force the Senate to begin hearings on President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees despite the fact that many of them have not been cleared of possible conflicts of interest.

Among the nominees facing hearings is McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao, who was nominated to serve as Trump’s transportation secretary.

The government agency in charge of overseeing ethics in the federal government and policing conflicts of interest has struggled to contact members of President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team since Election Day.
In emails obtained by MSNBC, Office of Government Ethics (OGE) Director Walter Shaub wrote that his agency’s attempts at outreach to the incoming administration have been met with silence.
“We seem to have lost contact with the Trump-Pence transition since the election,” Shaub said.

congressional dems in states Trump won might not be so much in party lockstep anymore, especially with Maxine Waters trying so very, very, very hard to fuck their re-election chances in 2018 and beyond.


Additionally, reports leaking out from behind some dem closed doors who are looking at iffy re-election bids in the future is that the inevitable Ocare implosion being hung around their necks like a dead chicken on a bad dog, is now being prepared like some demonic Hawaiian lei to be hung on the pubs instead.
