Trump the Puppet- Russians With the Strings

RE: Trump the Puppet- Russians With the Strings
My old boss, Dennis Hof, is nothing if not a striving D-list wannabe, and I'd bet my last dime that he not only voted for Trump, but in some ways likes to think of himself as cut in the Trump mold. It's only a matter of time before he comes up with some loony angle to promote the Bunny Ranch, using the golden shower fuss.

So, is there any proof Trump isn't in the rubber suit here ?

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

First, we got Trump Tower, now we've got Trump Showers®. The man will monetize anything.

None.  Technically I'm agnostic about whether he is in that suit or not but I see little reason to doubt it without evidence.

As far as I am concerned, the Russian connection to Trump makes him illegitimate. I do not consider him a properly elected president. The Russians did attempt to meddle in our election. I am wondering now how many of the Electors were influenced by the Russians. I call it all into question, and FBI Director Comey's shenanigan of announcing further investigations on H. Clinton (though I am no big fan of her) then dropping was no doubt an influence on the elections too.

You honestly think Clinton would have won if it didn't happen? Because I don't.

I don't.  In that context, I don't know why they would have pulled it in the first place.  There was nothing to gain and everything to lose.  The russian connection is the only thing that might legitimately de-ligitimize his presidency.  Maybe the kremlin really did have us confused for some other, smarter, bunch of people?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Russia has turned into the pilgrims shrine for the international right. In that sense it seems reasonable to expect Putin to influence elections around the world. It's his personal little war against the ones sanctioning him, and I daresay he's the more successful player right now.

And by the way, I'm not sure if that made headlines in the USA, but Marine Le Pen visited Trump today. It seems, Putin has a new competitor when it comes to the radical right and it's worship.

Her lead in the polls evaporated immediately after the announcement.
As the days towards an election wind down, leads tend to evaporate, and there is still the possibility that a lot of people who were previously unwilling to respond to pollsters with an affirmative "Voting for Trump" were galvanized to actually tell pollsters that they were going to vote for Trump because of the announcement, but the timing of the announcement and her lead evaporating in the polls lines up quite well.

I can't really fault you for not believing it, but I also can't fault someone else for believing Clinton would have won.

Edit: It's not really obvious which part of SecularElf's post you are addressing. But either way, her lead evaporated after wikileaks, and after Comey's announcement. Same logic applies to both.

Um. What russian connection?

"The Russians did attempt to meddle in our election."

They attempted to. So?

You sound rather delusional. He's the new president of the united states, fair and square.
