You use "evidence" to support an "argument". An argument, itself, is not evidence. Take the argument for climate change, for instance. One side has temperatures and whether records, the other side denies the significance of that. One side has "evidence", the other side has an "argument". The same is true for evolution vs intelligent design. Evolution is backed by all the evidence in the world, intelligent design is backed by "Nuh uh!"

If the evidence for a conclusion doesn't support that conclusion; it was never really evidence for the conclusion in the first place. At best, it was misunderstood to be evidence for the conclusion.

It is humorous to watch some try to make arguments against reason.
Trying to use evidentialism to deny that which based on logic, and in the end, denying their own conclusion. Nevermind the purposeful ignorance of the evidence, in order to make this arguemnet (which is without evidence itself) just the principles being put forth are quite funny.

Evidence is only a problem for someone who doesn't have any. Hence the need to bluster about how silly your opponents are for asking you to provide some.
