Whatever Donald Trump does we have the DNC and their infinite wisdom to thank. Bernie is right when he says the average Donald Trump voter wants to achieve many of the things he wants. A surprising number Trump voters voted for Obama last time: I think that says a lot about Hilary Clinton.

Trump is going to turn the country back to the way it was in the early seventies. I'm just hoping that maybe Ford will start building Pintos again...

The Democrats wanted Trump elevated because they thought he would be the easiest candidate for Clinton to beat. Now that Trump is president I think people need to hold him accountable to his promises rather than running around like headless chickens. Whether or not people want to admit it, Trump did say some things which I think people from both "the left" and "the right" (and anybody in-between) can agree on during the campaign, which of course Bernie picked up on.
Just as an example: Trump wants to do big infrastructure spending? Okay, America does need some major infrastructure spending. Here's a good plan: How about we re-train all those miners that lost their jobs and get them building clean energy? America will "win big" with clean energy and it will create many of the jobs which Trump says he wants. The coal miners voted for Trump because, well I'll let this man explain:
The people there are desperate. They are desperate to believe in something, he says. And Hilary's message was essentially "America is already great!", or to put it another way: "Don't worry everything is fine!"
