Atrocities in the Bible
RE: Atrocities in the Bible
Wishing I was struck down in the womb ?

The wicked go astray from the womb, they err from their birth, speaking lies. They have venom like the venom of a serpent. ... Let them vanish like water that runs away, like grass let them be trodden down and wither. Let them be like the snail which dissolves into slime, like the untimely birth that never sees the sun."
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

You have an uncanny ability to interpret scripture the way you feel it ought to read regardless of what it says.

No, you're afraid to find out what the scriptures really say and here I though, no have been told that atheist want to learn and find the truth, guess I was being mislead. Seems to me you all want to avoid the truth of the scriptures at all cost.

That's because he's a christian. If he took scripture literally he'd be an ultra-orthodox jew.

Matthew: 19. 18. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19. Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

The understanding of the law does not permit the murder of any whatsoever.

Immature attitudes like the two of you have are detrimental to learning and knowledge.
I'm trying to do as you ask but, in my own way, I guess you have objections to Christians that you're bigoted towards of doing things independent of your ways and you are afraid of learning the truth of these passages.

Now I'm a bigot...because you cant bring yourself to have faith in the trustworthiness of scripture?  Not sure how that works.  You could, ofc...at any point..tell all of us bigoted literates what that narrative is about, in your opinion.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Was there some point at which you intended to share that "true fact"...or.....?

You've responded...what, three or four times now, about that, without ever actually telling us whatever it is you think it's about. Get to the money shot man.
