That's factually incorrect.

Dr. Peter Fenwick has delt with thousands of OBEs in Near Death and says that patients sometimes have been able to "float" to another room and get information of what other people behind closed doors said. Then, they verify it.
One man was floating above his body, found a baby crying in another room. He was apparently able to talk to the baby, found out the baby had a broken arm. Then, when he was revived, he checked with doctors, and it turned out the baby's limb was broken.
Here is a video which claims there is life after death:

How can so many people accurately describe what occurs when they have a dying brain or a brain that is dead? It seems like a poorly functioning brain cannot do this. Do you think that these examples I provide, albeit anecdotal, potentially prove a soul exists?
How did Dr. Fenwick find so many cases if they are just coincidences?

The Butler did it.

Who's to say you didn't have an NDE whilst having an OBE? that's why you didn't feel anything.

You suffered a rare case of HAGLESS NDEOBE... and lived to tell about it!

There are a few links to studies, but it's not as clear cut as I had thought, tbh.

Bring me back from the dead when there's some actual scientific data. Until then, let me rest in the soothing land of the null hypothesis.

You could also tell me why I should care if this is evidence of anything, or not. It seems to make no difference to me.

Unfortunately misuse of terminology has conflated Coma, persistent vegetative state and brain death to a degree. When the terminologies are properly applied, brain death is exactly that, and there's no coming back from it. Further, the use of life support equipment to keep the body processes functioning further clouds the issue.
The diagnosis of brain death

While it looks like there's been some advancements using cryo to lower body temperatures and prolong the period during which something can be done, once the brain is dead...

Yeah, if the definition of brain death precludes the possibility of resuscitation, then nobody can (by definition) live to tell the tale. Obviously, nobody in say Hiroshima is telling us what it was like a few minutes after the bomb went off.

Here's  Sean Carroll on Life After Death :-

Carrol is a scientist reporting on the evidence against Life After Death. If you want to be better informed, especially those who think there is an afterlife, watch the entire thing, (it's only 20 min. 30 sec. long).
