I work for a pretty a big water utility company in my area, as well as working along side two other companies in the field. The common census is that views are mixed, but most feel negatively about trump. One of the companies we work with is union, while my company and our sister company are non union. I think a lot of it comes down to where you live, we are right outside of Philadelphia, but the further west you live the more likely you will be conservative it seems.

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Well having worked in a hospital I've met a large number of left leaning surgeons. Some right wing ones but mainly left leaning because it is a caring profession and the NHS is a socialist institution. Known some pilots too they were a mixed bag of poilitical stances. During my time at the defense contractor, while the staff at my level was pretty diverse, it was pretty clear administration and management was quite conservative overall.
As an office drone in 'cubeville', I wasn't in the union, but the production people were. In my frequent encounters with them I never once got any kind of a 'screaming liberal' vibe from any of them. FWIW . . . . . The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
I guess Mr CL is a conservative.
