That means that you would have opposed the introduction of Penicillin back in the day: the only way enough of it could be produced was to irradiate the fungus with X-rays to artificially produce genetic mutations. Those were then selected in the lab for the maximum penicillin yield.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
Just to be clear, I'm referring to taking a human egg and using genetic engineering to fertilize it with the sperm of an animal (or vice versa) to create a new species. Keep him/her growing in some type of fake lab uterus until ready to come out.
I'm genuinely curious to know what you guys think in terms of the ethics of this, but it seems no one is really answering seriously.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

One giant nope. Not against GMO-ing our way through medicine, which we are doing now, but what you describe - the cross-breeding of humans and another species - is not only unethical in my eyes, but also in most cases impossible afaik.
