Look I'm sorry, but the staff have a long history of listening to our members and removing new rules if they generate complaints.
If Minimalist wanted to object to the new rule he could have done it publicly, stated his case, etc. He didn't do that. He just left.
If you want to object to rules you can, openly, but what I won't stand for is pure bullshit that the staff don't listen.

Oh, and obviously we cannot talk about warnings etc received by members but I don't think that was what OP was referring to. So in case it isn't clear:
We did not ever tell Minimalist that he would have to leave the forums or even warn him about that kind of thing.

I've known Min for something like ten years now, over several forae. He's probably my oldest friend from those days. It's because of him that I'm even here, after the dramas at previous places. Do you think I for one take any satisfaction that he chose to leave? I'm actually trying to make overtures to persuade him to come back; if he wants to, obviously.
