I saw this on the news this morning:

"SAN ANTONIO - Catholic Charities, the city’s largest and oldest refugee agency, has been forced to slash $3 million from its budget, lay off eight of its staff members and leave 40 vacancies unfilled.

Antonio Fernandez, president of Catholic Charities, said he’s had to “drastically reduce” its refugee program as a result of the President Donald Trump’s initial travel ban and now the revised version that excludes Iraq, Iraqi interpreters and legal residents."

"He said yet last year, Catholic Charities help resettle 1,900 people from Syria, Libya, Iran, Afghanistan, Nepal, Congo and Cuba as well providing shelter for Central American women and children awaiting asylum."

There are plenty of threads on this forum to talk shit about Christians/Christianity. I'm sure no one would object if you even wanted to start yet another one. Why not take your attacks to one of those? This particular thread is supposed to be a positive one for a change, in honor of those who do good in the name of their faith.

On Sunday, in our adult Sunday School class on "Sharing the Gospel means Meeting People's Needs", we had another guest speaker from an international ministry called Teen Challenge. The local NJ mission is about:

"Teen Challenge New Jersey provides adults, teens and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution, clinical counseling, and life-coaching for drugs, alcohol, and other life-controlling problems in order to become productive members of society." http://tcnewjersey.org/about-us/

The speaker, now a senior staff member at one of their sites, went through the program himself a long time ago.
