Exactly. And two parts to that....
When he speaks, it's not Americans', or even the world's, job to interpret what he means, it's his job to say it. And so far, he's not very good at doing that. If Trump says ABCD, but didn't mean ABCD, then it's it's his job to NOT say ABCD, and not ours' to figure out he really meant WXYZ.

And secondly, you know how we have to tell kids these days, and even some adults, be careful what you post online because it never disappears, and may come back to bite you on the ass?
Welcome to the connected world Mr President! Big Grin

Of course, this isn't over and the judges' decisions may be overturned on appeal. But, for now, it appears Trump has once more stepped on his dick.

Really? 'Wall' means 'fence' and now we learn that 'wiretapping' means 'a lot of stuff that isn't wiretapping'.

I suspect that the time has passed to teach Mr. Trump what different words mean.

One thing I always find funny Trump  and many of his supporters supports originalism the absurd idea the  US constitution should be understood in the context of it's founders. I wonder if they apply that same reasoning to this law

I'm loving the butthurt that the judicial system is issuing.

NPR is reporting pretty much the same thing, and I think it's just. Intent can be and often is determined by words uttered beforehand.

The Liar-in-Chief is learning, perhaps, that words actually matter.
