And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. I'm an Aussie too, and not sure. A 'gob" also called a 'goozie", is both a face ('gobsmacked') and large volume of spit. Hence a 'gobber' can be a person who spits,(at somebody/something) I guess it's a more colourful way of saying"I fart in your general direction" Thinking


I think being contemptuous of the Catholic church and organised religion generally is pretty sane.However, I think hating ALL religion is a little over the top and perhaps a smidge overly ambitious. But,to each his own. After all, I have what I consider a healthy contempt for all professional politicians. (plus a few other member groups of the criminal bourgeoisie)
