And also the prices have gone up.
Few years ago it seemed like studios were trying to make Johny Depp into that kind of a star creating excitement like "Can't Johny Depp play just about anything" but needles to say it didn't work.
It wasn't easy getting a variety of opinions on a movie back in the '90s. Today you can find all kinds of clips and information to allow you to make a more reasoned choice.
Not to say people not go to shit movies any more, however. That will never stop.
