Coincidentally, the day after this thread started I got woke up by a message on fab swingers that went a bit like this......
Hi I'm new to this site but I have to warn you about (girls username who I met over Christmas) I saw you had a verification from her. She has HIV and passed it onto me. If you've been with her I'd get yourself checked. I suspect this is the man who's been stalking her, who's shown a lot of jealousy towards me. I told the girl about it and she wants to get the police involved. But obviously she's emotional about it. Just by the language of the message I thought it was fake straight away, who says "hey I'm new to this site" as an intro into telling you they have hiv. Either that or I now have hiv, the girl stressfully denies she has it. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. But in all seriousness I think the internet gives people a veil of security through anonymity. Most guys that are doing shit like this are not stopping to think for one second about how their message will be received by an unsuspecting female... That being said, I'm a firm believer that women love sex just as much as guys do. Especially if the sex is good... And for women it's probably harder to find someone they connect with sexually, whereas a lot of guys are desperate enough to be happy with a woman simply "being there." I'm not saying I'm completely against meeting people online, but there's a way to approach women, and then there's being a creep. In all fairness sometimes it is hard for us guys to know where that line is drawn. lol. We're usually pretty dumb and pretty women make us even dumber. I don't hit up women online seeing as how I don't have any social media accounts anymore (aside from here if you count that)... I much prefer to talk to women in real life. But I'm sure even I misread a signal and come on too strong every once in a while - it's bound to happen. As a side note, I had a buddy in high school who was known for doing shit like this. He was a pretty good looking dude so he had a high "success rate," so to speak. But the general consensus among the ladies was still that he was kind of pushy and borderline creepy at times. I'd rather have less "hits" and actually connect with the women I'm pursuing. Everyone's different though and the internet gives a lot of people a place to take their masks off and run wild. I feel sorry for females who are on instagram and stuff like that. Must be insanely annoying, especially if it is unwanted.
