I'm definitely an oblivious idiot when it comes to women. However, regardless of how they look, I just talk to them like they're people and go about my business; I'm the introverted, quiet type.

I agree. IMO, quality is more important than quantity. If I'm going to approach a woman who I like, then I would like her to be comfortable around me, and I don't want to creep her out by pretending to be some stud that I'm clearly not.

I hear you man. I'm very comfortable around even the best looking women now... doesn't mean I don't strike out though lol. I'm usually a pretty playful/flirty guy, as long as it is appropriate for the situation. Not like I go to starbucks and hit on the cashier while there's 20 people behind me in line. Ha some guys just try way too hard.

For sure. Definitely don't try to be something you're not. Plenty of women will pick up on this pretty quickly and just think you're an asshole. I'm always myself when talking to a girl. I might act a little cocky in a funny way to get her to laugh at me or poke fun at me or something (which is actually a good way to get some flirty banter going) but it's always good to just be yourself. If something does develop between me and a girl I want it to be because we both naturally feel that way about one another and not because I've contrived some situation where she thinks I'm someone I'm not.
Also, once you've built some rapport with a girl it often is best to just be blunt and honest. I laugh at guys who are in their twenties and text girls shit about wanting to "cuddle" or "netflix and chill." that shit is corny. If I'm horny and want a girl I know to come over that's exactly what I tell her. Sometimes bluntness is the way to go. Lot of guys just don't get this though.
edit: Still, looking back I cringe at some of the stuff I said to girls when I was in high school and stuff. I never really had anyone in my life to teach me how to interact with girls so there were a lot of years of super awkward, clumsy attempts to get attention from females.

In the old days you'd have to take your dick pics down the chemist risking a scathing look and send them by post.
Possibly somewhere in that time you'd say to yourself "is this really the best method of putting myself forward"?
