There goes Gawdzilla talking more shit he can't back up.

MOAB was NOT a penetration bomb, it went off at 100 feet. That's how it collapsed the mines. Damn you're dumb.

Exactly my point. lmao the irony.
“Love is the only bow on Life’s dark cloud. It is the morning and the evening star. It shines upon the babe, and sheds its radiance on the quiet tomb. It is the mother of art, inspirer of poet, patriot and philosopher.

It is the air and light of every heart – builder of every home, kindler of every fire on every hearth. It was the first to dream of immortality. It fills the world with melody – for music is the voice of love.

Love is the magician, the enchanter, that changes worthless things to Joy, and makes royal kings and queens of common clay. It is the perfume of that wondrous flower, the heart, and without that sacred passion, that divine swoon, we are less than beasts; but with it, earth is heaven, and we are gods.” - Robert. G. Ingersoll

And penetrators are designed for use against bunkers, human contrivances. Anybody got anything on their list that will penetrate a few hundred feet of solid rock?

And Pops highlighted the important point missed by the casual googler.

Which means they would collapse caves even more easily. LOL.

Also the highlighted points further prove what I was trying to say

“This is not necessarily the kind of weapon that you use to very deep or very heavily reinforced caves, but obviously a blast this size will collapse smaller more vulnerable caves.”

^^^

So, once again, even though the MOAB was not necessarily designed for this use, it was chosen for THE SIZE OF THE BLAST.

Holy fuck you're thick in the head.

Where did I disagree with any of that that? I probably disagreed with what you were trying and failing to say.

Besides, how does anyone really know?  Kind of seems like US propaganda here?  Besides, did anyone go into the militant tunnels to count the dead remains?

36 seems oddly specific considering that we just dropped a huge ass bomb into a tunnel. Do we know exactly how many people were there? I doubt it.

Later numbers I've seen indicate 90+ KIA. And, again we didn't drop the bomb into a tunnel. We dropped a bomb to close the tunnels. The KIAs were outside the tunnel, security and the like.

This is what I have read.

94 confirmed dead on the ground (though we know how often such numbers are exaggerated).  I doubt they'll ever know the full extent of the casualties, whether in or out of the tunnels.  Many were likely blown into red mist or crushed so thoroughly they won't be found.

The pre-drop imaging will be helpful in that regard. I doubt it will be released soon.

I doubt imaging, including thermal, will give us a reliable count of those in the cave.

FTFY.
