I cheated like crazy yesterday, but I'm back on the wagon today.

Lost 25 pounds since Feb.

None of it planned.

So my waist is more like 40.75'' raw measurement. I think I pulled the tape too tight instead of just snug on my last measurement where I thought it was something like 40.25'. But I'm getting my calories back down to where I should be able to soon lose about 2 pounds every month. But I guess a healthy and normal waist measurement is under 40''. So I have 1'' and probably 8-9 pounds left to get to that milestone.

I still want to eventually get down to 38-39'' raw waist measurement and size 32-33 pants. I suppose if I reach 25% bodyfat before then I will stop then, though.

I don't think that will be the end, but it will be good for a while.

New pants, two sizes smaller than my current ones (only one of which isn't too big). I can get into them, but only because fat man pants stretch. Big Grin

These will be good for another 40 lbs.

My wife is struggling with nausea. Smoking pot helps that but she can't be stoned all day so she doesn't eat until dinnertime most days. Otherwise it all comes back up. Anyone who calls this route the easy way is just ignorant IMHO. We're going to try CBD capsules to eliminate the intoxicating effects. Fingers crossed. I keep encouraging her to remember that her early experience isn't indicative of what forecer is going to be like.

I finally got everything sorted out between my primary care, insurer, and clinic. I'm just waiting for a callback to make an appointment. I'm not committed to having the procedure done. My wife's experience is giving me some doubts.

I'm maintaining pretty good food discipline. I'm not counting calories but I am being mindful of what I am eating and still using protein supplements. I'm allowing myself too many carbs, mostly in the form of rice and beer. I only have beer on weekends and only a few a day except when I don't.

I was going to suggest CBD when I read the first sentence. Her stomach will adjust, definitely. It is very hard at first, and I feel for her.

After gaining over 4 pounds last week I lost about 2.6 this week. At least I've got things moving in the other direction again. I'm down %.5 bodyfat after what was the highest it's been in a long time, last week at %29.1

At least this shows me that just a few pounds can make a big difference with bodyfat %, giving me more confidence that I'm not all that far from my goal of 25%.

I'm not going to weigh myself this week. It was my mother's birthday party yesterday. While I've been slowly losing weight, I know this one day of cheating could have added some weight, so I don't want to even register it. I had a good time, and I enjoyed life.
