Injury is/was minor (I hope). Just a strain on my ankle from pushing myself to-hard-to-soon, again I think. Right now I'm all good, after some time off/lighter running, but I can do 2-3 mile now without it killing me, which is nice Smile

I have around 2 weeks left before my 10K so hoping I can get in some quality runs before then.

Amazingly, I finally got on our scale last night, after dinner and a shower and weighed just exactly 190.  I did go to the Y in the morning.  But still .. three trips to that place and no weight gain?  Holy cow.

I haven't hiked or climbed in over an year now... (except for one super easy monsoon trek with a horde of 40 sophomores as my responsibility... that sucked lmao). I literally can't wait to get back out there next year.
And I haven't worked out or ran since April.... 2018 really has been the worst year of my life so far Sad

It is so much easier to maintain fitness than to get it back, especially when you get much older. Life gets demanding and busy when you're young. But if you can find time for it, your older self will thank you.

As you may remember. I don't have a scale. So I can't measure my weight loss since roughly a year and a half ago.
But here's another way of measuring, by added belt-holes.

Starting renovations was about a year and a half ago.
Starting biking to and from work, about three months ago. (30kilometers to work, 30 back)

I might need a new belt.
Also, epic paint skillz, I has dem.

Measurement time -

Weight 280.4 (368 in Feb 2016)
Neck 18" (19" in Mar 2018)
Waist 49.5" (52" in Mar 2018)
Hips 47" (54" in Mar 2018)

I hit the weight on my driver's license today (from Mar 2015, which was a big fat lie then, it was probably from 2005 when I got my WA license). I probably haven't been this weight since the mid 2000's.

Did my 10K over the weekend! Finished in 1 hour, 2 minutes and 53 seconds Smile

Raised around £240 (so far) for charity and all that. Will post some pics at some point this week. Going to have a week off from running now though. Rest time after some 18 weeks of training for it Big Grin

I just got final clearance for vertical sleeve gastrectomy. I should be able to have it done before the end of the year.

I'm at 272, my lowest weight in a lot of years. 96 total pounds lost.
