Leonard Cohen passed in his sleep last November. One of the most influential singer/songwriters of our time, whose career spanned nearly 50 years.

Well aware of it. And I heard the news just minutes after Dr. John's "Iko Iko" broke me out of my post-Trump funk.

Also, I would suspect "motherfucker" would be a stronger epithet. Maybe the C-word if you're in the Commonwealth, unless you live in some country where it's so common it's fairly mild.
