I listened to the whole album Orbital 2 on Napster. "Where is it Going?" Live blew me away. Some of the stuff on Orbital2 could be Industrial if it were a little harsher and had some harsh vocals.

In regards to loudness wars stuff
I tend to take advantage of any headroom I have and my stuff is pretty loud. Sometimes I use compression to bring up the volume when i do raspy half screaming aggotech vocals. Some of it would be incomprehensible without it because of what the voice naturally does when you do that.

You may want to look into My Bloody Valentine. Live, they're loud enough that the band gives out free earplugs to keep their fans from permamently damaging their hearing, especially during the "Holocaust Section" of "You Made Me Realise." 20 minutes of nonstop cacophony at 110 dB.

And yet, when the time came to master Loveless as well as their new album mbv, Kevin Shields, frontman and the only musician to actually play on Loveless, managed to take the time to mix and master it properly, so the soft parts are quiet, and the loud parts seem deafening. And they still managed to retain their noisiness on record without sacrificing proper mastering.
