Poll numbers are not bad enough for GOP to rebel against Trump. Their brand literally has to be at the edge of oblivion before they ever impeach that man. They don't want to be remembered as the political party that impeached their own President.

I'll bet the republicans are just waiting for the right moment to get rid of the p*ssy-grabbing orangutan. Soon Mike Pence will seem like a godsend to even the most hardened secularist liberals. They'll probably drag it out for another half a year or so, and then either try to impeach him, or - if the evidence against Drumpf personally is strong enough - convince him to resign, citing senile dementia, or something, in exchange for immunity from prosecution, that Pence will happily give him.
