I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

I took a road trip with my sis to relax and refresh. I needed therapy, and this was it. It was very relaxing. All we did was hike, walk, and sit. I tried and tried to resize the pictures, but nope. Nada. So, I'm posting them as is. If you are craving to see your screen blow up, open them. lol!

I take that back - I just remembered: a guy I had a lot of drama and history with did not approve of my new red, or red heads, because his ex-wife was a red head.

But since he's a slut-shaming idiot, I couldn't take him seriously, hence forgetting.

But then I've never understood treating someone badly based on any superficial property.

I've heard it said by old people here, "Lieber tot im Moor / als rot die Hoor", which roughly translates to "you're better of dead in a swamp than with red hair". Two of my aunts were gingers (born in the 1930s) and for them it was a real issue that made them miserable in their youth. Nowadays noone cares as far as I can tell.
