I don't think your responses "irritate people". It's just that some of us are quick to respond when we see someone promoting unsubstantiated beliefs as "the truth". And, since we're not on a religious forum, we don't have to soften our reponses or show "respect" to your religion. This is even more true for newcomers. We've had quite a few believers who come to this forum , prosyletize, give us the same tired,old arguments and then disappear. The longer you stick around, the more tolerance you will find here. We'll still argue with you, but the harshness level will lessen considerably.

I'm just throwing it out there. You never know, she may be living in derby, single, and looking for an incredibly intelligent and good looking man for her arms.
