Did a lot of leaf pick-up and weed removal over the weekend, which included pulling out a rotting stump (which is being replaced with an unkillable stump of Crepe Myrtle, may-it-rot-in-hell). As soon as I had yanked it apart and out of the retaining wall, this little guy jumped out of the space and gave me a reproachful glare.

It had been awhile since I checked this thread. I can see that it's only gone downhill from the last time I dropped in. We've gone from hand-bras to pictures of lizards, and not even the "right" kinds of "lizards". Sigh.

(I miss lizards so much, thin on the ground up here. I used to convince my visiting yankee relative's children that all the lizards in Florida, and they're everywhere, were baby alligators. Scared the shit out of them..lol. Throw a handful of lizards at someone from Indiana and the reaction is too satisfying for words to express.)
