Anyone who is a Poets of the Fall fan knows where the hand-sign comes from. Taken about a year ago. Hair's even longer. I am the creed of HAIResy. Also hey Queen you were in DC? That's my home-town and birthplace. I miss it, actually...
I grew up in Manassas - not far South. We went into DC several times a year. There's that old set of jokes "you know you're from NOVA when...one or both of your parents works in DC and can't say what they do." Dad's an ex-military gov't lawyer.
It was fun to visit some places I hadn't been to in ages, but I was glad to be back in Charlotte for sure.
Yeah, DC's a hectic city. The mall is beautiful. But the industrial district to the east...ehh...ain't so pretty.
I stayed in Wheaton/Silver Spring and came in from there. It was an...interesting...view.

As I've written before, if you are a complete amateur and don't understand a subject, don't demonstrate the Dunning-Kruger effect by writing a book about it and proving your ignorance to everyone else! Yeah, she's a diva. She steals mum's make-up brushes. She's the one with the funky feet - she has thumbs!
In other news, I dropped another pants size. Hiking around taking pics ftw!! (Sorry - the last time I wore Old Navy jeans, I was in a size 15. Now I'm in an 8. I don't care if only the women realize how profound this feeling currently is.) TSQ Wrote:I dropped another pants size! GO GIRL!! Excellent news!! If only I could! Yes. I'd like to drop some pant sizes too.
BTW I also lived in Maryland outside of DC when my father worked in DC. I went to a Junior high called Oxen Hill and started high school in Camp Springs called Crossland H.S.
hehe. I went to a place called Stonewall Jackson (Middle and High) School. We lived very close to the Manassas Battlefield
