The cats were a special ordeal, there were 5 at start, 3 of them withered down in my hands, despite my best efforts. Those were the 2 that survived me and my wife's poor nursing skills, but they are worth it. The dog is a very stalwart friend, a good guard.

Kittens are so goddamn cute. It's a shame they have to grow up to be cats.
