is the black cat the one that pissed on your kid? (October 29, 2012 at 3:14 pm)The_Germans_are_coming Wrote: festive1 No, that cat, which had always been an inside cat, ran away. We put up signs and checked the local shelter, but never found her. I like to think someone took her in, but that's probably not what happened. :-( She was a good cat, but she was very jealous of my husband and kids (I had her since I was 17), the second baby was her last straw.
do you live in a city? I dont think i would ever get a cat if i lived in a city again - not that i`m making a judgement - i just think a cat needs to run arround outside
I got her when I lived in a small town and she moved out to DC with me. Ronnie has no interest in going outside, but Bob... He lies in wait by the door and runs off. We're in a quiet neighborhood, he's up to date on his shots, is collared, belled (gotta try to save the birds, though he often brings us squirrels), and microchipped. So we try to mitigate his going outside as much as possible. He doesn't go far, mainly ours and our neighbor's yards. And the neighbors have praised his squirrel killing, that's about all we can do. When we try to keep him inside, he's very unhappy and scratches everything.
First one and the second are the best, Summer. I think you should try and expand your repertoire of compositions. The second one (although very centralized) is so much more interesting than most of your photos because of it's crazy angle. My photo professor once told me that I should try laying on the ground or leaning against stuff to get crazy angles. You have lighting and all the jazz down, but I know you can be more playful with your compositions.
The color on the chains is... Beautiful. I love it. Where did you find such a perfectly rusted specimen?
goddammit, why didn't it post the leaves?
Anyway - these were all taken at Frank Liske Park. Old farm equipment. I did some saturation and color level tweaking.
Love the color, texture and scale of the leaves to the frame. Really lovely.
