When I was a kid I remember reading in Time or Newsweek that a new ice age was coming, because particulate pollution would block out the sun.
That didn't happen, so now it's warming - and initial dire projections are being scaled back, so that the real impact is just beyond the careers of the youngest climatologists. It's a pretty good gig - create hysteria to increase the flow of grant money, but make predictions that you can't be held accountable for.
And again, the Paris Accords don't do much anyway. If you guys really believed this doomsday stuff, you'd be screaming for a hell of a lot more than that.

You read some story when you were a kid. So what? I read plenty of stories when i was a kid. You're an adult now.
Yeah, it's a great gig, being ignored by people like yourself who are actively working to achieve the worst possible outcome for all of humanity....because you have beliefs and read some stories as a kid. I bet they rank their career satisfaction off the charts. Lords knows that climate scientists are rolling in bank.
If the problem with the paris accords is that they don;t do much..then the solution must be to do more. There you go. Insist on an even stricter and more expansive set of climate agreements and laws.

No amount of "but there weren't more hurricanes!" will change the fact that mass migration has already begun. UIs that the fucking tipping point for you? As long as there are n extra hurricanes then it's probably okay/and or made up? I know, I know, you read some stories as a kid, and you probably watched the day after tommorrow..and none of that happened. Obviously it's all a scam?

No one is claiming that the climate is static or that temperatures were not sometimes significantly warmer in the past, only that organisms denied in mass when such occurred.
