Or, the Paris accords were mostly intended to make you think that something serious was being done, and you didn't care to really look into it.

The world really wouldn't come to an end if we eat all the Christian babies.  So there is really no justification for us to eat fewer Christian babies.

Florida loses that 32k of roads and all those billions long, long before we hit 8m. We'd already been dredging and shoring, where I grew up, for my entire life. The factory I worked in straight out of the service, where we manufacture some of the avionics for our blackhawks, it has to pump water out. It was dry when they built it, ofc.

Ask me whether or not I think some wet defect avionics might be sitting in a blackhawk somewhere? LOLNO don't, because why would you care?

There's no need to imagine, as I've said it plainly. Actually, I've mentioned one reason, but I'll include a couple others.

The current projections, with the Paris Accord, have sea level increasing by 6-8 meters by the end of the century. That indicates that the global warming crowd:
- doesn't really believe the projections,
- doesn't think that 6-8 meters is a big problem, or
- thinks it will happen and will be a problem, but doesn't care anyway, perhaps because they'll be dead by then.

Were wheat or corn the staple crops back then? Were there even humans to go extinct? Because those are the issues, not sea level. If our staple crops cannot survive the rise in temperature, our future doesn't look so grand.

I plan to make a killing off these deniers in ag.  The farms around me need to alter their methods to combat current and projected climate change...but because they're good god-fearin trump-votin liberal hoax-hatin 'muricans.....they not only don;t do what is being recommended,  they constantly talk shit about and bemoan what changes they need to make.  

It's a political objection to the weather...that's costing them money.  

Unsurprisingly, they have to sell their farms piece by piece because the weather isn't doing what it used to do anymore, but none of the other guys have any money to buy their land in part of in whole because they're going under too.

Alot of people think that...but, the amount of farmers going out of business begs to differ.  To be fair it's nothing new.  Alot of guys can't handle the situation when "what my dad did" doesn't work anymore.

We've been pushing the smart kids off the farm, to college and the city..for what, 50 years? Any goober can spray his fields.

So long as the market feels that my beachfront is worth more than their productive lands...I'm going to benefit. I'm pretty desperate to sell. We'll turn a dime no matter what we sell for...we bought a corner in the bay, directly across from an elementary school...for 30k 40 years ago. I bought these acres where I'm at for pennies on the dollar in a toxic mortgage firesale. In the meantime, out here I'm royalty...we've got a piano and everything (lol). Everybody is broke and needs liquid cash....and I'm scrooge with the dollar bill. It's working out well so far.

No, I'm pointing out that RIGHT NOW we're supposed to be having more hurricanes due to climate change, but we're not. If their predictions were correct, I'd take it more seriously. If they didn't have to go back and fudge historical temperature records to make their case, I'd take it more seriously.

I think a citation is required from you here. So one particular aspect hasn't turned out as expected, which will be due to one factor compensating for it locally that hadn't been taking account. Newsflash, this is a complex system so predicting exactly how the different factors interact is always going to be extremely difficult. As someone who works with complex models (AI) I see this in my work everyday. But we can easily show the overall trend. The global temperature is rising and this leads to more energy in the system and a lazier jet stream leading to more extreme weather events.

But you just want to pick on this one example whist ignoring the multitude of other things that are consistent with global warming. Like for example the more extreme weather that we are experiencing in the UK. The reason you are doing this is because you are better at convincing yourself of what you want to believe than you are at thinking critically.

Your wilful ignorance is even more shameful than if you just told us that you were a sociopath that didn't care about how your lifestyle affects anyone else.
