What Kind of Philosopher are You?" Online Quiz

RE: What Kind of Philosopher are You?" Online Quiz
Quote:Your mind works like the philosopher:
Rene Descartes

French philosopher Descartes is considered to have founded the school of modern Western philosophy. A rational moralist who viewed ethics as a science, he is most famous for his statement, 'I think therefore I am.' Like Descartes, you are quiet and contained, preferring to be alone conducting research or formulating theories than out partying. Your analytical mind loves to reason out explanations for unsolved mysteries and scientific enigmas, and your solutions are often unique and creative.

You Kant possibly forget Kant.

Kant would probably have agreed with me about Hume. Hume was THE crucial influence that made him build his philosophy, and, the way I read Kant, much of it's attempts at rebuilding a philosophical world Hume successfully knocked down.

Why there you are, young lady.  Welcome to the other site for atheists and the coterie of life forms we attract.

Just curious, have you made an intro thread either here or at TA?  Frankly people could be a whole lot more disclosive on those things than most are.  I don't know if it is just a kind of shyness but I always enjoy the newsier ones.

I'm not sure what to make of the fact that both of us were identified as Confucious.

Yeah, I find it confusioning too. There don't seem to be a lot of variation in the philosophers people are reporting.

So what do you think Thomas Paine represents, social justice warriors? I'd like to know exactly how many answer choices the quiz allows and what they are.
