I have noticed that forums are being marked as unread that haven't been posted in recently. One perfect example if the debate area. It hasn't been used since 2009, but every so often the little circle becomes blue marking it as unread. I'm assuming it's a forum software thing.

I've been encountering the same thing. It seems like it has been happening every now and then since we switched to the new server. Probably a coincidence, but that's when I first began noticing it.

You know, I haven't given the debate area much thought. Perhaps we should have a debate soon.
Sorry to go off-topic. I didn't notice that, but I pretty much live by the new posts button.
