Hi guys... I need to know if anyone's seen Outlander?
Is it really really good or just meh?

Can you recommend a series that's fantastic?

Never seen Outlander.

The most recent shows I've seen that are brilliant are:
Dark
Fargo

He's Yossarian's tentmate, and he keeps crashing his planes, and at points, he even suggests Yossarian fly with him. He disappears halfway through the novel after his plane is lost over the Mediterranean.

I know I once chided a user here for assuming that Catch-22 would follow a sort of "triumph of the human spirit" mold, but George Clooney changing the ending so drastically and destroying any potential catharsis... I legitimately don't know if that works with the source material or not.

Did you ever readthe missing chapter? It was published in Playboy magazine in the 1980's. It' s about PT. ... It' s worth looking around for it.

Edit to add -Dec 1987 issue.

I’ve seen outlander. It’s pretty unremarkable. Costumes sets and locations are pretty, though.

If I were recommending...

Poldark on pbs
Letterkenney on Hulu
The boys on Amazon
Altered carbon on Netflix
Chernobyl on hbo.

Watching Scrubs Season 8.

Is it just me or does Gooch look like Frank Sidebottom? (Anyone who thinks I'm exaggerating, look at 0:46 on the first video and 0:56 on the second.)

Seriously, that girl's eyes look so disproportionately large and close together (and I think out of sync) it's like an Untooned cartoon character who's been thrust straight into the uncanny valley because the DJs think that somehow looks better than the original design.

I'm currently watching Orange is the New Black...season 4. It's getting a little soap opera feel now.

Rewatching Leverage. Love the show. Especially Parker, but the rest of the cast too. There's nobody in the main cast that I don't like. Which I can't say about too many shows.

After Season 2 dropped, I did not expect that I’d bother sticking around for Season 3. But then, I found the new trailer:

Please let there ACTUALLY BE A FUCKING ANSWER to this mystery and not leave this show like The L Word. To be fair, unlike that show, Bryce’s general despicability is obviously intentional and isn’t related to the subpar writing.
