I may check that out. Thank you. I have been re-watching 'Call the Midwife' lately.  Can't believe how many subtle things I missed from the first few seasons.

Wow, eleven seasons, that was one popular show. Never thought it was for me, though.

I took another break from Handmaid's Tale. Maybe it'll be another four years before I continue with it, lol.

This season of 'The Handmaid's Tale' has taken quite a turn.  It needed to in order for me to stay interested.

I love 'Call the Midwife'.  The casting is great and I like the historical references as well as the relationships.  The babies being born interest me the least.

Granted, there are lots of popular shows I've never seen. Never saw an episode of The Sapranos, Prison Break, The Office, Grey's Anatomy. The list is naturally longer than all the shows I have seen.

I was wondering how this show, Inside Man, was going to end.

Wow.

What a heart-thumping escalation!

Bloody brilliant ending.

There's one thing that stands out the most (SPOILER):

Decided to check out Call the Midwife, after all.

Seems interesting so far from the beginning.

I bet conservatives stopped watching Call the Midwife right after episode three.

There are a lot of controversial topics covered throughout the seasons.

I like watching the old medical procedures and equipment too.  It reminds me a bit of how primitive, though effective, some of dad's tools and methods were.  Like the time I had to hold a jar with ether over a dog's muzzle so dad could spay her.  My first buzz.  But the dog survived and all was well.  We were about ten feet from our kitchen table while doing the surgery.  A good medical person makes do with what they have and what they are faced with.

Episode five: Flowers in the Attic.

Which gives me an idea for the current novel I'm writing.

It only took till the end of season two for a black person to make an appearance. (that one baby doesn't count. Tongue)
