Dollface

Quote:After breaking up with her longtime boyfriend, a woman tries to reconnect with the friends she lost during the relationship.

Can't believe I was unaware of this show since I find Kat Dennings to be a funny actress.

Gave Ozark one season, liked it, but I temporarily want to move onto something else.

I watched the first two episodes of "Fleishman Is in Trouble" and it is a struggle to watch since the characters are boring or, should I say, too mundane with mundane problems. I guess some people compare it to be like a Woody Allen movie, but it would then be a bad Woody Allen movie although that doesn't mean that the show is necceraly bad.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

^^ It happens. We sometimes try to watch bad shows.

#NoFilter was bad, so I stopped watching it.

Two little things:
1) The Prisoner: Given that #2's line "we're democratic, in some ways" in Dance of the Dead seems to foreshadow the election-themed episode Free For All and doesn't make sense if it's after that episode. So I guess I have to modify my definitive episode order.
2) In unrelated news, I'm starting Bluey. Yes, for real life. And somehow, I'm aware that there were some episodes that had to be changed for American markets, but I'm surprised that Disney left the reference to "A pot plant" in the "Hospital" episode in.

I think I made it through the first season but doubt I will ever go back to it.  I just felt like every episode had the same plot.  It didn't get to the point where it held my attention.  That happens sometimes but I have no desire to try again Ozark at some later date.

I'm on the last season. I like it well enough, but I've also been paying attention sparingly throughout while I focus on writing my novel.
