I watched the first 3 episodes of the first season of STRANGER THINGS with our 11 year old granddaughter last night. Her 15 year old sister is a fan and has seen the whole series up 'til the last one ended, and her parents said it would be okay to get her started on it. It was a lot of fun hearing her react to things that she's only heard and never seen.
Guess I'll be watching it again now.

Lately, I've been watching the tv show "Invincible". Although it is a cartoon, it is for adults since they are constantly spilling guts and brains on the floor.
I can say it is very fun. Try watching the first episode and you'll be hooked.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

It only took four years, but the new season had its moments.
