The Official Television Thread
RE: The Official Television Thread
I don't watch a whole lot of TV. Sometimes I watch news in the morning, afternoons, and evenings like every other day or every three days. I watch PBS when they don't have their membership drives. Sundays I watch whatever Masterpiece films are going on. Cop shows are my favorite: Monday's I usually go for NCIS and NCIS Hawaii. Tuesday nights are FBI night for me (FBI, FBI International, FBI: Most Wanted). Wednesdays I will watch Nature, Nova and anything else on PBS if it is not a rerun or it is very interesting to me. Thursday nights I go for NBC's Law & Order shows. Friday nights I like to watch SWAT and Fire Country on CBS. Saturday Nights (every other Sat because of D&D with my friends) I turn on MeTV's Svengoolie, if he is showing an old film I've never seen before, or I like to see particular one's that are my favorites.

Started watching Judge vs. Judge with Park Eun-bin. It's perfect. It's a limited series, and the episodes are only 30 minutes. And of course, Eun-bin gets lots of face time.

Just finished watching Netflix's series The 3 Body Problem. I'm not a big science fiction fan, but the story is interesting, it's about an alien invasion that's going to happen to earth in 400 years, and our attempts at stopping it.

Only checking it out because of the lead actor.

A Man in Full

Follows an Atlanta real estate mogul as he faces sudden bankruptcy, and tries to defend his empire from those attempting to capitalize on his fall from grace.

And, yes, that actually is Shania Twain making an appearance and singing.

Really? You have hots for Jeff Daniels?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

No. I liked his roll in The Newsroom. I'm guessing he's more @arewethereyet 's type.

I barely made it through the books, and knowing the books are always better than the movie (show) I have no interest in watching, and frankly can't understand how something with such piss poor understanding of scientific principles ever got so popular as a work of "hard" sci-fi.
