Ah, do you remember this TV show?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Shahmaran
When Sahsu goes to Adana for a lecture, it's the perfect chance to face her estranged grandfather. But soon, she finds herself in the midst of a legend.
The beginning narration resonates with me so much.

Didn't really care for the unrealistic character reactions in the above show.

Finished The Umbrella Academy. That truncated fourth season was insipid and pointless.

I wasn't fully impressed either, which made me wonder how much it followed the comic book.
